Hello and welcome to Little People Childcare. My name is Jill Callcut, I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder (Inspection Grade: GOOD; 31.01.11). Little People is my childcare business run from my home in Reading, Berkshire.

In June 2011, my husband, Danny, started to work alongside me. He is also an OFSTED Registered Childminder.

We are NCMA insured, we both have Paediatric First Aid Certifificates, and are CRB checked. We have business insurance for our car, allowing us to transport cared-for children.

I am able to use the sign language, Makaton, and also have experience working with special needs children, including those with Downs syndrome and Autism.

About Little People Childcare

My name is Jill Callcut, and I run a child-minding business with my husband, Danny, from my home in Reading, Berkshire. We provide childcare services for families from the Reading and Wokingham areas of Berskhire.

I married Danny ten years ago and we have two little girls aged nine and six. They both love being able to play with our cared-for children.

As well as providing term-time care, school holiday and weekend day care for pre-school and school-age children, I am also able to provide overnight childcare for up to two children under 8 years of age.

Danny has been childminding alongside me since June 2011. He also currently designs Websites (including this one!) for UK businesses.

Please note prior to contacting us that we are not a babysitting service. Babysitters are generally unqualified individuals who have little or no training, no insurance and bear no legal responsibilities for your child.

Also, we do not care for children away from our premises. This would be contrary to our registration with OFSTED, who inspect both our premises and the quality of our provision at our home address.
